- Ashmari : Urolithiasis is the stone formed in urinary tract (kidney, ureter, bladder and urethra). Synonym for Urolithiasis is urine stone/calculi. In Ayurveda it is known as Ashmari which means calculi or stone and its small powder like pieces are known as Sharkara or Sikatai.
Composition :
10ml of Ashmari syrup consists of the following ingredients.
Ingredients Amount Gokhroo 500mg Pashan Bhed 150mg Apamarg 100mg Kasni 100mg Punarnava 200mg Sheetal chini 20mg Plash pushp 100mg Lajjalu mool 100mg Kakri beej 100mg Kulth 500mg Ikshu 100mg Varun chhal 500mg Makoi 50mg Sahdevi 200mg Daruhaldi 50mg Pathar phool 200mg Revand chini 200mg Sweet parpati 150mg Moolikshar 150mg Shudh shilajeet 20mg Sajjikshar 50mg Yavkshar 50mg Water boiled q.s.
Uses :
- To remove stones
- Relieve burning or pain in urination
- To remove kidney infection due to stones
- If a patient with stones has stomach ache, this relieves the stomach ache.
- Also used in UTI
