• It is unsegmented enveloped single stranded positive strand RNA virus 
• Structurally the wreath shaped protrusions surrounds the virus

In humans corona viruses causes respiratory infections including :

1)common cold,bronchitis,pneumonia

2)Middle east respiratory syndrome (MERS)

3)severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome(SARS)

4) Covid- 19

• The new strain corona virus (SARS-COV-2) causes corona virus disease (COVID-19)
• The virus was first identified in Wuhan,China in December 2019
• Since the virus has spread to nearly every country so World Health Organization has declare COVID-19, a pandemic disease
